I think the list of burned and depleted and utterly ruined folks speaks for itself.......doesnt it? Or would you still like me to be the spokesman? Im hardly "qualified"......thank God above.......

Was not painful a bit. Frankly, it was very, very good to me in many ways.
Completed the lease, bought out the residual, ran the truck up to a million miles, traded it for another, and am still with the same company.

    You have to remember
#1. Not all LP's are bad.
#2. Not all LP companies are bad
#3. Not all drivers are good.

You Sir......seem to be the exception to the rule......in the minority....why that is.......? Ive no clue.......I do know that these lease purchases tend to be , for the majority , have built - in leanings that favor the company and that they are generally , for whatever reasons , result in extreme duress for the majority of folks signing up for them.......that may be a result of the 3 things that u have listed working together and resulting in negative results.....but my feeling, and this I can only derive from the testamony of others who have engaged in L/ P contracts........but....I can say the same regarding those who frequent Casinos as well........

Some percentage who have visited casinos have done nothing but lost......but another percentage could never speak poorly of the same place , where they came out way on top......Im thinking its similar in the lease purchase realm........

    No, and here's why.
In an honest casino, you have a chance to win if you're lucky.
In an honest LP, you will win if you work.
Luck has nothing to do with my success or the success of others. In an honest game, the difference is between those who would work and those who would not.

So ,basically all that the lease purchase programs need to be shown for the truely profitable and fruitful programs that they are, is simply a more dedicated and HARD WORKING pool of drivers that sign up for them?

Actually it only speaks to the ignorance of those that fail. The first step on that road to failure is thinking it's about the truck. The truck doesn't have flippen thing to with it. Leasing is a business and the trick is just an overhead cost.

People fail because they have no clue as to what a business is, much less how to manage one. They think it's about getting a truck, as you and most everyone else on TTR does.
