I've had one of their recruiters call me one time not too long ago, he offered me a driving gig with them but something wasn't right when the recruiter over the phone sounded a little more antsy and trying to force me to come out there to Las Cruces, NM. I just hung up on him after that

Are these crooks still in business? Worst company i ever drove for and it ain't even close. When i left they owed me around $4000 which made up 2 bonuses and some other stuff. Never saw a penny. Danny is a liar and his brother and sister are creeps too. Do not under any circumstances do the K-1. You will pay both sides of your social security, you will pay for worker's comp, and if you are laid off you will not be eligible for unemployment. Stay clear of these losers. Mark Chase

Their recruiter gave me a call this week wanting me to leave my 65 cents a mile job with no cost insurance and a pension.

I think it reads: "God forgives those who repent, and turn from their wicked ways".
And there is an expression: "You have never been screwed until you are screwed by a
    "Christian". Nuff said.

Actually, all you have to have is a truck that will crank up, run, and move.
Some way, from somewhere, and somehow, there will be someone to come up and drive it.
I did it at age 15 and continued a year for $1.75 an hour, then $75.00 a week and all expenses
paid for another year, then 2 or 3 years at $0.05 a loaded mile. Then I really broke out and joined the ARMY (for 3 years) at $76.00 a MONTH !!!!!
Now don't be too concerned, this was 1951 to 1958 and was prevailing wages then.
    Some folks just like trucking......

Another Canadian driver and baha Thank this.

The Crawford kids are lying creeps. Not sure if the old man is still kicking but i hope so. He is a really good person. Don't know how the kids got like that with such good parents. Stay away from this horrible company. Just move on. There are way better companies to drive for including MVT down the street. Full disclosure i never drove for MVT but have talked to a couple of their drivers and they seemed happy. Every time i see a WWE driver at a truck stop i chat him up and try to get him to leave for a better company. I've been successful several times. That $4,000 they still owe me I cost them 10 times that in stolen drivers. I still do it. I will do it until i head off to Blue Bayou. Darn fun too. Never F with a driver who has the gift of gab like me. They'll be paying for decades. Hehe. My name is Mark Chase. Want the company to know who i am.

I talked to an mvt recruiter and told them I'd be ready in 2 months and they bought me a bus ticket the next week. It was supposed to be regional with weekends off, then they sent a contract they wanted me to sign that said I could have 2 days off after I drove 6000 miles. I haven't talked to any of their drivers that are happy.

I could say buying Bitcoin and holding it has changed my life. But actually it was buying my own truck and reefer trailer and putting on with Landstar for 4 years. The money I made there was life changing. I took it and started buying Amazon at $350 and kept buying on up to $3,000 per share +. Then i sold some and bought Bitcoin. And sold a little more and bought Cardano. So yes crypto made me a millionaire, but being a Landstar O/O allowed me to buy in the first place so i owe Landstar a lot. Heading off to Thailand forever later this month. So i guess this creepy company, Wild West Express, and their creepy owners, will not get their drivers stolen by me anymore. I'll send a postcard.
