Over 26,000 lbs requires a CDL. Over 10,000 lbs is a cmv.

If you are between the two you get 150 mile radius and more hours before you have to use a graph log (or eld).

What ever you do Do Not get KeepTruckin! KeepTruckin will keep on charging you after you cancel their services . That’s the reason they want your card number up front. To me the government just gave a green light to companies like KeepTruckin to feed on our hard earned money. If you want a good eld go with blue ink bit. This is a company that owns trucks

Sounds to me someone is finally sliding towards being a trucking company rather than remaining a farm concern.

I celebrate these opportunities, but you might want to look into separating the truss express truck from that of the farm truck. Incorporate it as it's own company.

If you decide to get an ELD check out Blue Ink's BIT eld. It's a one time fee and they have great customer service.
