The first thing you need to do, is to take your lease agreement to an attorney and have him/her go over it with you so that you can understand and find out what your options are , if any. Your goal at this point needs to be getting out of this lease you're in. I am not going to state the obvious, because i think the lesson has been learned. You are in a hole and the first thing you need to do, is to stop digging? At this point there is no need to assign blame, or claim this is not your fault. You have a problem that can affect your career and your future long term, and you need to address it yesterday! Contact OOIDA immediately or any legal consul in your area. Do not bury your head in the sand and think this going to go away. You need to fix it...NOW! Good luck.
My Lease Purchase is only a Lease with no purchase.

Man that's sad.Definitely a good example why anyone going into L/P should read the contract with someone in the know. They're gonna get the truck and your gonna get the bill.I feel for you driver.
Eldiablo, jamespmack and Canwil3565 Thank this. -
Return truck and all equipment - and grab a rental car home.justcarhaulin, Lepton1, Just passing by and 8 others Thank this. -

I’ve been told HUNDREDS of times. -
Why do all you Guys do this?
You read the Lease threads, you hear everyone saying run, and you still take the bait.
As far as a 400 dollar a week paycheck with a clean MVR.
Look elsewhere. ,anywhere
Heck I take home a thousand a week hauling milk working 5. 1/2 days a week . I have barely had my CDL a year now. .
I had to take 3 1/2 weeks off for personal reasons just now . My company said get your business done your truck will be waiting for you when you get back.
Great companies that treat you like Gold and and pay Fair are out there.
Stay Away from the Megas.Lepton1, Just passing by, adayrider and 8 others Thank this. -
@Chinatown -
Can you recommend good reefer companies in Pennsylvania for this fellow please?
Thank you. -
I just can’t believe they screwed u with that contract. Paying $4,000/mo for what u thought would be your truck...crazy. I’m sure they covered their butts in the contract, but I would have someone who knows what they’re doing look it over. See if there is anything that can be done to put that $ toward a legitimate lease purchase, or gtfo of the contract! But that’s how the megas operate.
Sounds like you were making decent $ (home only 3times in a year!). Maybe just finance a decent truck on your own, to begin with-with even the same $1,000/wk payment, you’ll have it paid off a lot quicker than with their crap.
Good luck, driverLepton1, jamespmack and Canwil3565 Thank this. -
Very true. Good Drivers are in short supply. You are being lost in the sea of average Joes within a maga carrier. Find a smaller company close to home, and prove your worth. Sounds like u have a good work ethic, and any decent company will see that quick. I work hard, and there isn’t anything my company won’t do for me.
On the positive note: you did build some more driving experience with the magaLepton1, Just passing by, jamespmack and 4 others Thank this.
