Free healthcare, think about checking out what the replacement cost will be before you even think about a move.

There are currently 9 states, but TN and NH are not exactly fully no income tax (yet).

Alaska, Florida, Nevada, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington and Wyoming.

9 States with No Income Tax

Apparently, state income tax isn’t everything. Some of these states with no income tax have higher taxes in other areas. One would have to look further into the state’s overall taxes to find what makes more sense.

It’s true. I have the cheapest plan and will be paying $258 per month this year. In 2016, it was $175. It goes up every year. I moved to a different state in 2016, so my insurance went up either because it’s a different state or because I was now a new entrant in a new health plan. I am currently locked in my current health plan because the next cheapest plan is over $300. I used to live in NV, and it was cheaper there, but still over $100.

Mine actually gave me a huge break on my car tag in 2018.

It was supposed to be around $350 because I failed to renew for 2 prior years. I got it for $30. They simply noted it had been it shop the entire time ;) Small towns have their perks. Especially if you went to school with the tax collector lol

Car tag is 29 annual flat. Plus property tax to the revenuer based on value. Truck is around 45 flat annual same with property tax. Sales less than 4500 dollars value not taxed. Otherwise 10% at title transfer, new tag etc. No inspection, no emissions, no nothing other than having insurance.
