I made it home. Off till Friday.
Interesting week.
Drove all night. Almost couldn't make it. Foggy out. Freezing too.
I'm overtired. Trying to relax so I can get to sleep.

I'm still in shock. The 180 degree difference from old to new company. Almost too good to be true.
BTW: The second to last run I did with the old company. I came through a scale in Kansas. Just outside Liberal. Officer Barkley was working the weigh scale desk. Had two officers, one on each side. He had to be the happiest looking doggie in the world. Practicing his administrative skills.cleanbyrd, SingingWolf and Lepton1 Thank this. -
My Co-driver always gives me a hassle when it's time to leave. So this time I outsmarted her. Not leaving till tomorrow. Maybe even later. Due to the winter storm coming in. So... I packed up a bunch of stuff in the truck tonight. She's going around, trying to avoid me. A game she plays. Then I relax a little. She comes up to me. Got her confused. Definitely. Beating her at her own game.

The load the company got me to head out from home. It's at the landfill. I went over and had it loaded today. 22 tons of news paper. I went in that place for 7 years. They remembered me. I kinda got to play the big shot.
Never thought I'd ever drive in there again.
The boys at the LTL terminal here, kept complimenting me on my truck. She's beautiful!cleanbyrd, SingingWolf and Lepton1 Thank this. -
