look, I'm not saying they are perfect, but from my experience, they're not terrible. id recommend them for a new driving chasing "verifiable" experience. Did you work there Joel? mind sharing your experience there? also mind sharing what you did to overcome that?

yes, 49 CPM out of a two week CDL school. Monday through Friday earnings. I guess some of us just bring more to the tables then others right? Lol

I have to admit, this looks like legit info straight off the app, but for the life of me I can't understand making that kind of money with them especially for a new student......something list does not seem right...

 

I submitted my military driving record along with my application. Helped out alot. But still your husband being with them for two years is getting low balled in my opinion. Some of the veterans I came in with had never driven anything over the size of a Humvee an still started around 42-44 CPM. I applied at all the megas except swift. Us express was the lowest at 28 CPM lol. Scheinder offered 42, then Werner offered 49 so I took it. Unfortunately they kind of got me bc no one else will match their pay since I don't have the "verifiable" time otr which is ridiculous....or the ones that can match it want to pay on a 1099. Is he located south east by any chance?

 

He drives OTR, not sure what you mean by the southeast as where we live? Yes I agree he is being lowballed, and he is looking for another job, we have been doing research for months trying to decide what co to try next, dont like jumping co, he is a loyal person, that's one of the reasons he has stuck it out so long....

 

Do you do OTR or regional, dedicated acct?

Surge pay, additional cents per mile for military vets with some companies. Good for the first year only. Then it’s back to regular pay.
