Mercer, Whats to be expected for startup cost of equipment?

I pulled a digital led sign out of Florida that was supposed to have 16 binders on it The sign was on an A frame type of stand for shipping It had 4 frames they wanted a binder on the front and back & each side of all the frames .
The load was less than 8k.

 

Dont forget about $ u may need after inspection to fix stuff

 

I would look for used headache rack at the beginning and upgrade later for what you really like. You will need 10 chains. Sometimes even more Mercer hauls lots of military vehicles and those little one axle trailers need bunch ap chains if you have 5 or 6 on the trailer

 

When I went on with Mercer there were 10 trucks and I was the only one with a APU there nice to have but i dont belive there a deal breaker....
I already had a headache rack and chains and binders i found a used rack and the chains and binders were cheaper to buy at home the only thing i needed was bungie's and corners and tarps

The thing is …..That's what they require if you want to be leased with them. Why do people complain so much about what some company requires and you want to run with them . Just boggles my mind.

 

Same story all over, just change the title to fit...

"I knew the job paid by the mile when I signed on, now I'm gonna complain though cause I don't think it's fair."

Same story, same mindset.
