Wow. I can only add to the chorus playing above.
    1. Stop. You will never catch up, don't let them tell you you can, take care of you.
    2. Get a lawyer, an independent lawyer, to review the Contract and figure out your options.
    3. With your experience you should he able to find a company job that pays well. I hear Walmart on the radio promising 80k a year everyday. Maybe start there?
    4. See #1 above. Take care of you. You should ONLY ever care about 1 truck and 1 person. You. Nobody else will.

Disregard the people chiming in with smart remarks. They are the a-holes.
Most people make mistakes. The rest lie and say they didnt. Learn from yours.
There are guys and gals on here that will try to steer you in the right direction, keep asking questions. Good luck.

When people said don't do Lease-Purchase why did yo ignore them? Did you think they were trying to keep you from getting rich? There are companies with revenue of $100 million dollars per year going bankrupt. Income isn't the only important item for success. A company driver has almost no permanent truck expenses. His paycheck is ALL PROFIT.

Find a Lease-Purchase driver at your company and follow his advice, even if you don't like it, even if it's inconvenient, even if you don't feel like you are your own boss, or any other excuse. EVERYBODY has a boss. They just call it by different names.

He wasn't buying though. He was just the renter. But he didn't know that. They NEVER know that.

This is their brain. This is their brain on drugs.

What do you expect from today’s educational system?

They don’t even teach basic economics in public school anymore. Much less advanced.

Hell, they don’t even care if they can read.

You not the first and not the last. There is few problems here.First one is major one its the truck, with constantly broken truck you are already moved to different category and will never get a good paying load.
Prime inc is training company, solo you are screwed.
Refusing loads probably will not help at all. Talk to your dispatcher if you are in good friendly relationships with him, he can pull you out of that mud in 2 weeks and keep you with good check for few more weeks after that.
Prime inc is good company as entity but to work there from drivers perspective you are owned and doomed to suffer. You are on the front line, you pay for their mistakes, you pay for your mistakes and any events that disturb your run run run inevitable sick lifestyle.
Quit, Prime is not for everyone, it is large company and there are lots of hidden rules.
I remember when i quit they deducted so much money from my funds ( without explanation what for) that i left with a little and could not get even that little for 5 months, although they say 45 days after you turn in your truck they refund your money - it only tells they can screw you anytime they want to and anyway they want to.
    Quit.
