Its not the ELD's that are responsible for trip planning. I'll be leaving early in the am, but I already know when and where i'll be parking all the way to the receiver, shipper and back.

Right now I’m at the Flying J in Tulsa. The parking is totally full already and 20-30 trucks are still filing in. There’s no parking! Totally jammed..It’s fun to watch.

.....proving that it’s conceivable a driver can make less money on Elogs even though he was running perfectly legal on paper logs. He makes less money because he has to park at 4 pm because the illegal guys are looking for parking now too. There has only ever been enough parking for the legal guys.

I run till 3,4,5 am mostly. Always find a spot somewhere. I usually don’t bother even looking at the majors.

There's lots of room to park about 20 miles east of there.

I avoid truckstops when sleeping. Fuel and shower only and find a secret hiding spot to sleep.

I’d like to know what happened to the idea of questioning Authority? How did Drivers get so soft? Slow process chipping away over the years? Accepting the slow conditioning, spoon fed a little at a time? Is this just a reflection of all Society today? Maybe this Game isn’t for Me anymore. Ruined by bean counters and so called Experts. I mean look at all the things going on in this Industry. A plumber has more freedom than a Truckdriver. I guess if you’ve never had it you don’t miss it. Programmed Robots with a CDL. Just accept whatever they require. Yeah I know if I don’t like it..... It’s just a sad State of Affairs. Dead End Industry anymore.
