Hey ya'll
How often do you all get flipped off, flashed, cussed out by 4 wheelers when you're on the road? Why do you think 4 wheelers do this kind of stuff?
I ask this because I keep hearing from drivers that they get flipped off regularly and being sexually harassed by 4wheelers of both sexes isn't all that unusual.
Now I know some of you may consider that sight of naughty bits as being a harmless job perk. However, for the most part, in the normal office situation people don't have to put up with this because it makes the workplace uncomfortable. You all don't have that option.
So what say ye about harassment from the public?

Harassment for the motoring public is nothing compared to all the other crap a driver has to put up with. I very seldon have problems with 4 wheelers. If a driver is getting alot of rude jesters maybe they should examine there driving habits. I have big trucks cut me off when Im coming up and approaching to pass, it is not unusual for them to have to drop back into the lane because they dont have the power to pass. So I know if they do it to another truck, they will cut off a car even faster. The other thing is alot of drivers don't know where there going causing them to drive badly to get to off ramps.
As far as getting flashhed I dont have a problem with looking at a naked or bare woman, even if there fat and ugly with drooping jugs, I they ask we say yeah we want to look. Ron White was certainly correct.vjkeathley Thanks this. -
I dont think there are many 4whlrs out there that wake up in morning and go out driving just to screw with truck drivers(although sometimes it seems that way). These poor souls just dont know any better...so it seems like harassment when its just ignorance on their part.
I rarely look down into cars because its rude and invasive.
To my knowledge, I have been flipped off one time. They just wanted to let me know their IQ level.

Maybe they were just telling you that you were number 1.

A "Professional" driver should have no more trouble with his/her job, than a plumber or a professor.. I very rarely have trouble. It usually has no problem finding you if your lookin for it though

I find that driving at about 10:00 PM in college towns can be a problem with people racing around me and playing chicken with my Tandoms.

seems to me IGNORANCE and IMPATIENCE are the 2 biggest factors in 4-wheelers making bonehead moves

On those rare occasions when a 4-wheeler driver does something REALLY stupid (like cutting in front of you and hitting his brakes - when you are going DOWNHILL and heavy... yep it happens), most of the time I am sure they just don't understand what is involved in getting these things down the road. This particular guy (who passed his death wish on to his wife and kid who were in the SUV with him) thought I was purposely in the left hand lane to make his life miserable, taking forever to pass the other two trucks in the right hand lane... Nope, just going uphill, and you drivers know the drill.
They just need to be educated. If only...Mighty Mouse and vjkeathley Thank this. -
Every driver after a few years has seen it all. Back when I first started driving in Florida it seemed the girls coming down from the north couldn't wait to get their clothes off. I think the funnist thing that happened to me is when I was waiting at a stop light and a woman got out of the passenger side and came up to me and handed me $5. She said now you have money. I laughed and said no thanks ma'am they put the sign on the door ( Driver Carries No Cash ) so it will cut down on robberies!

I for one believe in liberal use of the horn to assist a fourwheeler in knowing when they have made a bad move. Like the idiot that decides he's merging whether I am there or not. Or the inbred brainchild that decides to come to a complete and utter stop on a interstate that was moving at a fairly good clip because there was roadwork on the bridge... or at least I am guessing thats why this brainic decided to come to a stop in the only lane of traffic far to the left. Oh oh my personal fave, the moron that forced me to merge to avoid an accident then made me come yards within having to either hit them or hit construction people because they refused to speed up or back off.
By the way... I decided if there was going to be an accident the idiot would be the one killed, and merged back in time and forced that moron off to the shoulder. I try not to ever do that but that case man... I mean I am going 65 mph there is a clean up crew in the right lane, I start to slow down for them moron merges right in front of me going 30 mph, grrr. I wish cars would explode if someone does something stupid like that.vjkeathley Thanks this.
