Why just bump a dock when you can be the "wow" factor on the road?

Transport National is looking for drivers to run the lower 48 states and Canada hauling tanks, silos, buildings, and more. You'll see more than just highway while learning proper securement, understanding permits and routing, and making GREAT money. If you have dry van experience but have never hauled flatbed or oversized loads we can train you!

No more than 2 weeks out, most drivers are home weekly. Percentage pay with $1200 minimum weekly guarantee program (average $80k+), medical/dental/vision insurance, company paid life insurance, 401k, wellness programs, flexible spending account, 1 week paid vacation after 6 months and another after a year, paid holidays. Guaranteed home for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Must have Class A CDL, great driving record, at least 23 yrs old, able to get TWIC & passport

Recent CDL grads, we have $5,000 tuition reimbursement as well. Veterans and guard members, we welcome you to join us to move America forward. Let us be your first (and only) trucking family.

Looking to hire within 100 miles of these locations: Milwaukee WI, Wausau WI, Youngstown OH, Cincinnati OH, Winchester TN, Joplin MO, Springfield MO

Call 414-856-1911 for more details or email your resume to Lynn@tntrans.com

$1200 is only the minimum pay. Most drivers average $1400+ weekly. My lowest paid salary last year was $66,000 while my highest was $110,000. It all depends on the size of the load you haul, since it's percentage-based pay.

Why would a driver want to drive oversize for the same pay as a box driver?
    Edit:
Especially when you are not paying the driver a percentage of the $8 to $10 per mile you should be billing a Customer.

Well, we do pay percentage. Last year my top 50% drivers averaged $95k, without safety bonuses included in that number. My lowest 50% averaged $75k without safety bonuses. I'm sure there are some van driving companies that will pay close to that but I don't know of too many that pay that well and get drivers home regularly. It's not a job for everybody, but if someone wants to be more physical than holding a steering wheel and bumping a dock it's a lucrative option with room for financial growth with every day of experience.

Is this thread real? Who in their right mind would haul for those peanuts if that's what the loads look like? I'm guessing the same idiots that think lease operators are getting a good deal. Christ.
