    You will know what happens.

Stupid trucker on tailgate of stupid car. Stupid car jams brakes get crushed to death or worse. Stupid trucker does not drive again. It takes two stupids for wonderfully Darwinian things to happen in life.

Now if it was just one party that was stupid like the idiot in a car that cut off a semi in roadrage and then jams the brakes. Well... even chance he will either be injured or killed. He brought it on himself. No tears.

Or the idiot trucker filled with whatever impatience riding cars that don't want to be ridden. Hes going to find himself in a bad situation.

Take your pick, plenty to go around these days. In our area, we call that road raging and let em go on by.

There is a awesome tool against stupids. A gopro or similar on you. So if something did happen, its all there in technicolor in play back to the law when they show up and in court later if necessary.

Fewer than 6 seconds of following distance is the very definition of following too close. One of the comments on that video from a driver saying he slams on the brakes when that happens and ooops he's been rear-ended many times which is a career killer for the person doing the illegal close following; they get what they deserve.

I follow about the same distance behind in a car, follow up close I can not see what is coming and the way folks drive anymore I like to see what is up, If hanging back a bit you can see the wildlife on the side of the road , but it is all about personal preference, If I get in a pack I will either speed up or slow down to get in that free zone, no hurry, it is going from one line to another anymore.

I may have stolen this from someone on TTR. I thought it was so funny it needs to go viral.

Go easy on him. He's only been in a motor vehicle twice before he got a CDL and both times he was in the trunk of a taxi in Somalia.

The USA used to be a high trust society where the majority of people tried, for various reasons, to obey not just the law, but the even stricter social norms. It is becoming a low-trust society where the smart move for an individual is to take advantage of any opportunity, legal/acceptable/friendly or not. It's only going to get worse. Even when it gets much worse it will still seem like a Paradise who come here from a dusty village where herding goats was like winning a lottery.

Going that fast yea that's uncalled for. But if I get a 4 wheeler to merge in front of me and then slow down for no reason I'll get right up on their bumper and try to "encourage" them to go faster. I never do this to cars doing the speed limit. Why do I do this? Because it works 9 out of 10 times and it's safer to do that than to try to pass them. My truck only does 68 and I run interstates 90% of the time so they are all 70 or 75. If I'm doing 68 and I can even get up behind you then you're going to slow. You're not making a living doing this, I am. If you're going to go that #### slow get behind me, not in front of me.

That could be considered Road Rage. Or worse, a set up for them to slam on their brakes for an insurance claim.

Personally, I'm not that fond of defending against a manslaughter charge, or ending up in prison. I keep my distance.

Like india or vietnam where the streets are war zones with traffic going every which way with people on mopeds and donkey carts in between it all.
