I already bought a plane ticket to Midland. I don't care where I live I just want to go where I feel I will be hired fast with no experience. Also since I'm leaving my home I want to go where I can work for the most moneypossible. Eastern pa north Dakota or Texas. Doesn't really matter to me. Tho if pay is similar I'd rather Texas. -20 vs 70 degrees and all that.
New cdl where should I go? Texas or Oklahoma

Rig crews, casing crews, wireline etc all hire CDL holders too so look at those as well you’re not stuck to just trucking companies.

Most money least experience? Probably drilling rig or workover rig..frac crews and casing crews. Depends on a lot of things though. Hours, overtime, per diem, paid housing, elog vs paper logs, etc.

I got hired on with about 10 guys hauling crude oil in Midland. We all left within one year. Cost of living too high. Oklahoma is much cheaper. And lots of trucking jobs

I would just be great full I got an opportunity to get hired. Get your experience and as your working and getting your experience you’ll find out whose who in the oilfield I can assure you all those YouTube video guys paint this pretty picture that is a little off from the reality. The chances of you landing a job without experience and getting a good wage are kinda low he’ll even people with experience get offered ####ty wages. A for sure job would be water hauling and sand hauling. Sand you just haul sand but by hauling water depending on the company and if they have service work you’ll be able to have a tour of the oilfield and see what company does what and what company pays what all while getting paid and getting your experience then once you have at least 6 months of Ethiopia’s can now start planning your next move
