Here's where it really gets stupid...
You spec a truck exactly the way you want it, special carrier, driveline, everything. And then you skimp on the cheapest part of the maintenance for the most expensive part.
Sure he could be ok, but you really think those special order items will be in stock at every dealership?
3-7 days to ship in from the manufacturer
I gross 6-8k a week. 1 week down on "warranty" repair just blew your little bit of saving on the extended intervals.

Tug Toy, Oxbow and Rubber duck kw Thank this.

You ain't lying.... 5.7 average on 105k miles.
This new x15 will pull like a beast, but the only time I could get 7+ mpg is the one time it was towed...

Tug Toy and Oxbow Thank this.

How's you manage to get 7 with that? Cats are a pretty thirsty animal, can't imagine my foot running a c16 would do much over 5.

I used to get over 6.5 with a mechanical b model. The largest factor in fuel economy is the monkey driving it.

blacklabel, cke and Kawinige01 Thank this.

believe its because of your gear ratio, if you have a 3.90 it will save more fuel and probably runs faster on a hill
