I hate how dispatch throws it on the driver to figure out what to do with damaged cases. Christy was the worst, she’d tell me to call up food banks and arrange pick up or drop offs. With no additional pay of course. Then she’d complain because food banks didn’t want wet damaged goods. Eventually on the third instance Sysco rejected damaged michaels egg products I just told her off and said if you want it donated you figure it out. Got to the point I said ok and just threw it in a dumpster without telling her.

Probably send you to OD to return it back to Ken’s. That’s what I always did anyway.

3 days, max. I'm like you, though. I fill the reefer every day. Somebody stole my reefer fuel one time in SLC, I checked in the morning and was running on fumes. I've been with Holland 2.5 years, totally loving it. Headed through the yard this week to pick up a new truck. I'm pretty sad about it, actually. I love my 2016.

No OSD on the Walmart load but I was there to 3.5 hours after the appointment. Had to also deviate over Monarch Pass (via Gunnison) to get around a rock slide closure at Glenwood Springs so as to beat the weather coming in the next day. Sat at the Johnson’s Corner Petro for 23 hours waiting for appointment and the weather to catch up to me.

    stevep1977, jeff18 and motocross25 Thank this.

Walmart’s aren’t as bad as they used to be but those evening appointments are almost guaranteed to mess up any groove you may have going. Had to flip to nights to make the McDonough follow up load appointment.

Monarch is my favorite pass to go over. Then again I’m a glutton for punishment. Lol.
