I knew before getting hired on with Schneider that I probably would not want to stay with them to make a career with that company but I knew they're training was A+. I guess the only thing I could do is play the waiting game I need the experience but if I'm just going to be sitting around not doing #### it's kind of a waste of time. I think it's ironic that they want us to get more exercise and eat better but the ######## won't allow us to have a power inverter in their trucks. I find it even more ironic that they like for us to exercise but a lot of their operating centers the disoatchers and OSR's have access to treadmills but drivers do not.
Just about ready to call it quits...

Use what you have to find a better company , you have a class A with T and X , apply for other companies, see what comes up .I went to tanks with 3 months experience , never looked back and do not plan on hauling anything else . Your company will be pissy when they get the call to verify your info , it lights a fire . They could threaten you with with having to pay back your schooling ,but do the math , can you make more to off set that cost ? Geoendyke just bought out McKenzie tank lines , I know they are looking for new drivers in AL , they are willing to train, decent pay , miles and home time.

I may have missed it, but how long have you been there?

I honestly dont know why SNI still has a bulk division. Every plant I've ever pulled out of hates them. Old google maps used to show several Schneider bulk only yards but those have been gone for years. I'm not sure they ever recovered from the huge computer snafu that happened when they 'upgraded' their system several years ago.x1Heavy Thanks this. -
I rarely ever see them anywhere other than the tank wash but my God, their tanks have seen better days

I hope the best for you but with only 1 month, (if me) I would want to use an open door policy or something to that affect to speak with a higher up, and show him/her how you have been treated. I have only been in the Tanker Field for just about two years and I have talked with a few Schneider drivers that really like it.

You're out of garden city? If rob is still there ask to have him as your dbl..I did SOME sitting but nowhere near what you are. Then again you've been there a month it takes time for them to trust you. Squeaky wheel gets the grease..unhappy? Say something, they have tons of drivers so you can easily get lost in the shuffle. I put in my year and bailed but I didnt hate working there.

Last year they were recruiting my heavily since I was with the Intermodel side for 3.5 years. I think I hurt the recruiters feelings when I told her I'd give up driving before I pulled a schneider tank.scythe08 Thanks this.
