Hopefully the customers don't understand THEY can rent or pay a motor carrier for less than the rate you will be quoting them to make your profit.

Delaware is a really small state to run intrastate on. Most product made in state is going to be out of state outbound. I run local propane transport in the winter part time and chickens when its not winter. Based off of your current hours, I don't think youre gonna have enough time to make a profit legally. I do know that gas and oil companies are always looking for part time help this time of year and you might be able to squeeze that in a day or two a week.

yeah, I think your best bet is to drop your info at a couple local companies and see if anyone wants you now and then on weekends when someone calls in sick or whatever. I've known some guys around here that pickup work driving dumps for paving companies, mulch delivery, and plowing on the weekends for cash
