Random LTL Rants (all are welcomed)

It's normal at my hub.

 

I've been to NWB plenty of times. Guys at the shop are very friendly and always quick on fixing stuff.

 

I like going to NWB. Been there a few time when I was on extra board. Easy run.

 

That might be my run if I switch to linehaul. NWB shuttle

 

My bad, you're right that's a toll road in front of the warehouse and the toll roads in PA are expensive so they need to do a good job to keep them clean LOL!

Hey R, do you fill out the DEI everyday? I do it's fun, they now send voicemails to our yard talking about what there up to at the warehouse, today I filled out (2) DEI's one for today and then one that was about 5 paragraphs long called "mike's corner" and I re-capped the entire week and how all my loads were and I talked about the importance of communication and I had a nice valantines day tie in and even referenced the classic film Dr.Zhivago when talking about my loads this week only I spelled it Doctor Shivago which was way wrong LOL! I can just see them in the control room right now.

"Dr. Who? What is this chucklehead talking about?"

 

Ugh, run run run all day. Trailer came in late, obviously I was a little behind all day, load was good and bad, some of it was good, but the top layer of cooler was bad. I had 3 re-deliveries today which I didn't care for because there was buried cases and stuff out of place. But 885 cases later I was all done and it was all better.

 

They added a stop at the railyard after I come back from my short run. Good times.

Guess I'm going to make a little more money whether I want to or not.

 

They offered me weekend work, and I recoiled like a vampire looking at a silver cross.
