Those FxF stories make me pretty grateful. Sure, we'll get stuff passed on by guys who don't check out their trailers, but I don't think I've ever seen a bald tire anywhere in our system.
My company is pretty good at getting equipment back for PMs. They even have a rule where trailers aren't allowed to stay stuck at one terminal or in their territory longer than 2 weeks (except for liftgates assigned to that specific terminal). Gotta keep them moving.

Well gents, I am thinking about getting back into the LTL gig. I tried to sign on with TCW but for some reason they declined my application. Guessing because I don't have a TWIC and because my HAZMAT got dropped when I transferred my CDL.
My current pay is entry level and our benefits are garbage (our health insurance is two and a half weeks worth of pay). My job really is not bad at all in terms how I get treated, I just think I can do better in pay elsewhere.
Gonna get my HAZMAT back and then look at LTL. USF Holland, SAIA, Southeastern Freight, FedEx Freight, and a few others are in my area. is there anything I should avoid? Saia is the closest to my house .misterG Thanks this. -
