I have read on Crete carriers web page that the top 25% of drivers make over 80,000 per year. Can any body confirm or deny this clams.

Maybe if your on the 45 days out fleet and run hard then it might be possible. But then again it's just all talk

The top 25% of drivers is not the number to look at. Ask them "What is the median income of your drivers". This is the number that happens most frequently. But to be honest, I highly doubt a recruiter will tell you..they probably don't know.

They can throw out any numbers they want,
Just to get you in the door.
They don't have to prove anything.

When I fully recovered from my eye surgery middle 2017 and got my cdl back and went back to crete I asked the recruiter what the average driver made there I was told 55-60K BS when I worked there the first time I made around 48K and I was out 5-6 weeks

I think the average is around 45K a year I’m trying to make around 60 if I continue to drive with crete for the full year

Top 25 includes Owner op pay being calculated. So the avg goes up. They also inflate that number with insurance benefits at x amount. Bonus potential etc . Anything to inflate to recruit

I have been driving for Shaffer and now Crete for almost 18 years. Best I made was a bit over $72,000. Most years came in right about $65,000. I do take my time off and don't take BS. They keep me busy, but when I want to be off, they have always gotten me home, on time.

I seem to be on track for $60K. Dry van in the 12 on 2 off fleet, but usually do a few days more to line up with weekends. $65K going into my 2nd year here seems very realistic. That doesn’t include performance bonus, because I keep landing about 100-300 miles short each month of target. This quarter I’m missing it by 150 miles. Maybe, I’ll hit next quarter since freight is likely to be up with everything going on. Then, maybe I can buy a nice elecraft kx2 for use in the truck.
