forgive my ignorance I was under the impression that FedEx ground are 1099, then again I ran into craiglist ads looking for fedex ground as a 1099.

 

Really? They’re not allowed to do that anymore. And they’re required to be incorporated also. But I am pretty sure some guys break the rules.

 

That rule also applies to the small package delivery guys as well.

97k for a solo driver thats really good, @viper822004 also mentioned he teams up with his father now, probably the pay went up into the 100k mark.

 

5 to 6 days out.

 

Hopefully you can get out on a Monday. Memphis been horrible every day.

 

Guy I ran for in Nashville was Indian. He had 9 trucks. Good guy to run for. 1375 wasnt bad for 4 days out.

Transferred up to Evansville and ran solo for a guy. He has 25 trucks there. Only contractor in there. Did 1 p&d and a last cut Nashville for line haul. 14 hours paid at 22hr plus $50 week show up bonus. Paid 14.5hrs a day only actually worked 8. Rest of the time was sitting waiting for line haul. 80k yr made. Honestly if he would of had cheaper insurance I would of stayed. But 275 week got crazy.
