"The only way your stuff is going to stay dry is either you put the tarp on top like I asked you nicely to do OR you take it off the truck and put it back in the warehouse. Your choice there partner"

I never had a problem at most shippers. Except the ports... Then sometimes it had been a hassle...
The big stuff it seems the more they will help seeing the dollar value of the product -
The host employer (shipper/reciever) is supposed to have fall protection in place. Even of you are on the trailer doing a 4ft load. OSHA regs are clear on fall protection. Until someone sues these cheap companies wont care if you fall off the load and break your neck.

Mines set to be 104" wide on the inside and 8.4' high.
If its oversized it can't be loaded everything else fits haha! So it ships.
One downside to curtains though is in the winter.... like now.... everything is hard, and cold, and packed.... with that...... grrr....
Yeah anyway. I love my curtains when its nice outside. -

I even had a Frenchman threaten me with a pipe one day. To move out of his way while I was securing a load of loose piece structure steel. He learnt a valuable lesson that day.cke Thanks this. -
If that's the case I wouldn't tarp or he would have to take it off. -
I just did a load a few weeks ago. The shipper detained me for 6 hours because the load “wasn’t ready.” Keep in mind this was one of those loads the receiver needed yesterday. They finally loaded me, and had the gall to tell me to move my truck out of their way WHILE I WAS TARPING because they had another truck waiting to load. It took everything I had to not tell them to shove the whole thing. Lucky for them I needed the money.Last edited: Feb 25, 2019
