    Update time!

I just hit my 4 month mark at Romerica. I have exactly 100 days worked in that time period. By days worked, I mean days I'm actively hauling freight. In those 100 days I'm averaging $269 per day. Through the 15 paychecks I've received so far I'm averaging $1652 per week on 1981 miles for .83 CPM.

I haven't been tracking how much duty time I'm averaging per days worked, but if I had to guess I'd say I'm logging between 8 and 9 hours of duty time per day.

I'll probably scoot that average pay per week up closer to $1800 after the holidays because I plan to take less time off.

Lots of money to be made here folks. Especially if you're looking to run rather than go home every weekend.

Everyone’s situation is unique. You are running well with fortunate loads lining up. This isn’t the case for every driver, every week. I’m glad to see you are doing well though. The weekend usually sees one load and a wait and see after that. I believe much of your success is rooted in your location.

Just hit my 6 month mark recently so I thought I should update my numbers again.

    26 weeks of data.

$1530 - Average gross pay per week
1869 - Average miles per week
    .82 - Average CPM

My average $ per week dropped a little bit since my last post in December because freight was crappy for pretty much everyone in the industry in January and February. The $1250 guarantee protected me for a week or two there. Things are ramping back up now though.

To give kind of a snapshot of what a typical week looks like, here's my week last week:

    Monday - Commerce Township, MI to Chicago - 276 miles - $250

Tuesday - Alsip, IL to Livonia, MI with 2 extra stops along the way - 254 miles + 21 DH - $250 + $50 extra stop pay

Wednesday - Shelby Township, MI to Chicago - 292 miles + 40 DH - $275 (Drop on back end)

    Thursday - Chicago to Bowling Green, KY - 398 miles - $275

    Friday - Russell Springs, KY to Brook Park, OH - 425 miles + 87 DH - $300

Saturday and Sunday - Grabbed a long one to stay busy for the weekend from Sidney, OH to Claycomo, MO - 627 miles + 182 DH - $450 (Drop on back end)

The week shook out at $1850 for 2602 miles.

Also I know "Chicago" is a nasty word but we really dont go there as much as that week would indicate, and we dont go deep into the city at all. When we do go there, the places we go to are right off of 94 by the 94/80 interchange, so it's no big deal.

PM me if you have any questions that you want a driver's perspective on.

How heavy do you usually run? What is policy for time out vs. time off? Do you have PrePass/EZ Pass? Do you have any choice regarding what loads you take? Just wondering.

    1. 98% of your loads wi be under 30K.
    2. We usually prefer drivers (depending on the area you live) who like to stay out a minimum 11-12 days (leave Monday, run over the weekend, then hit the house on the following Friday) for a minimum 48 hours off. It just works with our business model.
    3. We do have Prepass/Ezpass.
    4. Unless we are asking your to do something illegal, or hazardous, drivers do not have choice in what loads they can run. But we are confident in our abilities to load the driver with safe, legal, loads in areas that are comfortable for both the driver and the company to run in. I am not only the owner, but have been driving since 2008, so I know what you guys face out there everyday. A lot of companies say this, but we really are a driver friendly company. If you're willing to work, you can do very well with us.
If you would like more info, feel free to contact Jennie at 440-309-9907.
