Mmm yes those hotels with a good chance of critters or bringing them home as well.

    No thanks!

My truck is clean and I'll gladly pay for a place to set the brakes for the night that's safe and guaranteed....
I could care less about parking lot pissss , I'm not planning on sleeping on the ground there.

I have had to get staff involved to run off and tow those rude enough to park in paid parking areas that haven't paid....Unfortunately it takes a little while..i think the $500 boot thing is catching on though and that's smart for the property owners!

On a different note, we ALL pay lots of road tax and it's being misappropriated into NON road funding.. That needs to be stopped. Pennsylvania is a great example of that tax scam !!
We should have lots of parking with the taxes we pay!

Actually my biggest problem with paid parking is the reserved parking. I dont mind as much when I go to a truckstop that is 100%paid parking.
I will just either get enough fuel, or spent the minimum required. Usually a meal at night, pack of smokes and a coffee in the morning does it.
BUT I despise Reserved parking, it should be first come, first serv. or limited to the front row only. Please don't say trip plan.

An yes I am A hole when I want to be.
I parked in reserved one time around 11p. They wouldn't even let me pay. Said spot was reserved, but since driver had not shown up. I could park there, but if he showed I had to move.
Sometime around 2:30am. They knocked in my door had to move. Ok that's fine, i understand and actually expected that to happen.

But the other driver, (punk ### #####) tried to yell at me, about being rude and hurry up and move. Between waking in middle of night, and having to move. I wasn' in mood to hear him yell like a girl.
I was gonna knock him out, but the little #####. Took out his phone to video me. So I just left, karma got him for me.

In the morning when he pulled out. Somehow he dropped his trailer. (Guess his 5th wheel wasn't locked) and then he discovered he had 4 broker tail lights on his trailer. (Musta had debri in road bouncing up)

Hell yeah I agree with it. It's necessary in some truck stops. In Ontario California at the TA I seen many trucks saving spots for their buddies coming in later, they would drop there trailer in one spot and go Park in another spot totally kluster ####ing the parking lot.

  8. reason I'm glad that only for dash cameras but for securitycameras you can buy camping World like for an RV while you have protection all the way around all four sides of your truck and the backso if anybody tampers with it and the laws called he can simply show that to them as you press charges...almost 30 years out here I've never seen whatever you want to call these people nowadays I just call them the CSA Wonder Boys..cuz if you've been out here from about 1997 or before you know why CSA 2010 was created, you know without CSA probably three-quarters of these clowns would not even be allowed to drive a truck.. but hey there now the majority!! no longer the minority!! vandalizing other people's trucks and everything else keep representing why we have e-logs CSA soon-to-be speed limiters and probably dash cameras

Oh c'mon. You're making that up, right?
Are you really a driver or just some kid sitting in Mom's basement typing with one hand and pretending to be tough?
Either way, you're not going to be around long. Not on the road and not on TTR either.

Keyboard Rambo? Doubtful. Sadly, in every larger crowd, there's at least one of these types of individual who has no ability to self-modulate when challenged.
