As I mentioned in another thread, I'm in Harrisburg PA. Yes, the roads are greezy, but nothing like Wyoming or Montana. I did encounter a Knight truck faceing south bound I 81 in the North Bound lanes. He came clear across the media. I heard it's a 5k fine to use the interstate when closed..just a rumor? I don't know. I didn't get caught.

Just because I live here doesn't mean I'm from here. Back in 1989 I lived in Leadville Colorado. My house used to get buried and I had to dig a tunnel to get out. It's a whole different world at 13000 foot elevation.

Your right. 29 years ago you knew what snow was. Anyway, us here in PA are fortunately 100% NOT CAPABLE of that amount of snowfall, so the arguments that PA bans trucks and doesnt know what snow is... no #### were not CO.

    Just as GA isnt PA.

They need to quit putting salt on the road so people can learn how to drive carefully. It'll keep the resale value of our vehicles up as a side benefit as well as forcing us to stay on our toes and keep alert.

I hate the chemicals too, but dang it sure does clear the roads. It was easy driving for me, coming from a place that won't use it. Just saying.

They’ll be junk, I understand that. But you don’t cry over spilt milk. If you’re given lemons make lemonade.

It’s also only 6” being called for. I’m sure the pro’s (i use that term extremely loosely) on this board can handle 6” of snow.

Now that’s funny. What have they got......4 plow trucks? The state capital went broke. The potholes on 81 are just stupid. The state is a joke. NY plow crews will run circles around PennDot And I imagine every other northern state would do the same. I-81 in NY between Watertown and Syracuse gets 6” PER HOUR multiple times per year. PennDOT.....pfft!
