It's turned off after working for the company 1 year if you have no accidents, speeding tickets, or get caught holding your cell phone. The camera is part of your every move the first year w Millis.
But, you could hang a hat off of it when you shut down for the day.
If you follow to close, sudden stops, even loose traction while empty taking off from a red light, it comes on. If you have something covering the lens you'll promptly get a email thru qualcomm asking you to clear it... This goes for everyone. They watch. No doubt about it. You consistently have the cam come on, you'll be fired. The only difference is after one year of safe driving it's not on all the time.

 

They are people who asked to have the camera shut off, and they say it is. He put a piece of tape over it and got a message 3 days later to take the tape off of a camera that is supposed to be off.
Millis is a good starter company. Their biggest issue is short runs and sitting waiting for a load.
Do not take perdiem while in the trainers truck, you will not be eligible for mileage bonuses, so change to per diem once on your own.
If you have Jeff for dispatch, you will become frustrated quickly.

Ive had 2pcs of black tape over my lense since the day we got the msg saying cameras were going off. And not 1 fn thing said to me. Will make $100,000 this yr or really #### close to it and I've got less than 4yrs experience. And I'm home ALOT!! But I must just be drinking that kool aid lol. Keep uo your vendettas and talking bout stuff you know jack about. Schools are full here and freight is rolling lol

Actually, you can see from my other posts about Millis that I’ve never trashed them. Nor do I speak any untruths in my previous post.

 

You complain about short runs...miles are miles they all add up...and oh know may have to sit and wait for a load sometimes...run your hours right and even with that sitting you still can knock out 2750+ no problem at all.

And you talk about not taking per diem as a student because of no mileage bonus...no students get bonuses I mean for ####s sake .43 x 3500miles plus and you arent driving all those miles fresh out of school? And you're #####ing about no mileage bonus , lmao. Jesus. Heres a tip if you're on per diem you bring home more per wk than that guy on straight pay....
