My company has been charging a premium on anything going in or out of there. They call it the “California compliance charge”.

When I lived in Missoula there was a city councilwoman who had moved from CA. Instantly she had all the best ideas for what Missoula needed to do because “that’s how it was in California”. Finally someone asked her if it was so great why did their family move to Western MT. Then she lost the next election. Lol.

Now, nobody knows what the industry will be like in 20 years. Maybe electric will already be somewhat normal in this industry by then. But if it’s not this will surely grind CA to a halt.

Exactly, look at how many people are leaving Cali and other states with that thought process, not much question in my mind why they're leaving either.

They can't afford to fix damns that provide them with water, I'd say they're priorities are just a little backwards. They're a trillion or so in debt, that's a pretty ####ty economy if you ask me.

In 20 years I will be 68yo and unlikely be driving a semi. Also with automation it is a real possibility our jobs will be a causality of said automation.

Also get real........this plan cannot interfere with interstate commerce. So unless EPA or Comgress get on board this is only a pipe dream. But by all means bash California that never gets oldo_O

    This^^^^

I dont understand the hate for progress.

10 years ago there were no smart phones.

Now I can post here, take video or pictures and send them across the world in seconds l, answer emails, watch YouTube or Netflix, and find a date on tinder. All on this device.

Why in the world would anyone want trucking to look the same as it does now in 2050.

Complain about it all you want. You will just be left behind
