Reaching your bonus with dht is really dependent on your DM as well as how you manage your clock and ability to run. No reason for anyone not to reach a 12000 mile bonus a month if they are managed right.

So what cpm is DHT paying new drivers? What are they paying drivers with a couple of years experience? I have talked with a few of their drivers..they seemed to like them

The best way to answer that would be to call them and ask to get the right answer. Also ask what the bonus is for mileage as well.

Especially now that they have a guy getting paid to watch dash cam videos all day and criticize DHT drivers everytime they hit the brakes hard. Tough luck. I didn’t go through three months of cdl school and two months living on the road with a trainer who never had an accident in 20+ years on the road just to be nitpicked by some desk jockey everytime I have to hit the brakes cuz someone cuts me off. I didn’t get into trucking to have someone breathing down my neck and judging my moves.

    Next!

They may have cameras that are capable of inward, but they are covered up. Not being used, and the lens in covered.

Audio is not being captured either. No one has signed any type of release on the cameras, they are front facing only, and are event recorders. They only trigger on certain events. They are not storing video 24/7 they only capture and hold an event when the event recorder is triggered. Example a hard breaking event. There are no sensors in the truck connected to the event recorder.

They do a lot more then “event” recorders. Or the events are more than you think.
Roll a stop sign, it senses your that and you’ll get a call. Run through one of those reds that have a short yellow, it somehow senses that and you’ll get a call. It’s complete ########!

I am sorry but that is not correct at all. It takes a triggered event for it to store a recording and then the event to be sent information a review. When the lights on the camera are green, it is pretty much in monitor mode. Once triggered the lights go red. There is no sensor to tell the camera that you rolled thru a stop sign, or a red light

Biggest problem with driver facing is... People who have never driven, look at it. Then criticize...

My present company. No driver facing. Events like stop signs are recorded. Also... it records for shorter duration storage. Had an incident where a driver claimed I hit his trailer backing. Told the cops he was there the whole time. Hooked to his trailer. My camera showed he wasn't there when I pulled up. He showed up while I was backing. Office downloaded it the next day.
