They've been reporting since yesterday morning that the wind gusts in the area could be as high as 60 mph... I'm sure the driver will contend that he's completely blameless in this rollover.
D.Tibbitt, lovesthedrive and Upinsmoke Thank this. -
Ball player practicing his sliding into home base.
What I want to know is why this fellow was filming trucks in that particular area? Almost like it was planned -
It's not good to be out in public, a bad guy mugs you and all you get from strangers is a bunch of video instead of actual help.Bud A. Thanks this. -
That tractor hit the ground pretty hard, hope he's ok.

Yeah, it was plenty rough between Emporia and Dallas.
Lepton1 Thanks this. -
Winds have been bad here since yesterday afternoon in Carlsbad. It was tough to get and keep speed today when I was loaded. Better than yesterday though. I was over in the same area that the tornado passed though just south of loving. That storm was pretty rowdy.
Bud A. Thanks this. -
Does anyone else find it interesting a video camera operator just happened to be stationary and focused on that empty rig, at that particular time? What are the odds?
Oh. I see someone else caught that, too. -
That's a good example of why it's always a good idea to wear a seat belt properly. That's a good way to get decapitated or a serious upper body road rash if you're not buckled in when that happens.
It's also a good example why it's a good idea to keep your wallet somewhere other than lying loose in the cab. Might take emergency responders several hours to find it if it falls out a busted window or ends up under the dash somewhere.Trucking in Tennessee Thanks this. -
At some point these trailers need to be able to sheer the pin so it doesnt take the truck with it.
Bud A. Thanks this.
