The decline of drivers and slobs .

I'm glad you get it. As a team driver I can tell you its hard to get a shower.

When i drive at night I can never find parking. During the day I have to interrupt my sleep if I want one.

Theres also the other driver you have to worry about. You might see an opportunity to grab a shower but the other guy disagrees and wont stop.

It gets to the point you dont press the issue because you dont want to listen to the whining and excuses. So you arrive 5 hours early and park on the side of the road and wait for no reason. LOL

We get paid more. But we don't have the luxury of making our own schedule, stopping for 10 hrs, etc. And the codriver politics... Thats what I call it.

We do have some good times, I dont mean to paint a complete bleak picture. Its just that it is harder to shower and do upkeep on yourself because you are always moving

 

I’m not riding around with somebody smelling like armpits and ###! And baby wipes are not the same as a shower

 

Sanitation wipes are damage control only. It only buys you a day or two then the wipes just disintegrate and melt away when you try to use them.

 

My first driving job was team (many years ago) and I hated it. My hats off to you for being able to deal with it!

 

The only time I went several days without a shower was when I was in a war....literally. No way I would do it again, unless in a similar situation. Dang man, it's just gross and bad for your health and the ones around you who have to smell you.

 

Where do these people come from? Who thinks it’s ok to sit in a public place in nothing but a bed sheet?

 

Maybe all his clothes were dirty and he wanted to wash them.
