    I use these on my trailer;

    Exterior Digital Load Scales – Right Weigh

    I have a set of analog Right Weighs on my tractor but I put in a digital pressure gauge and I like it better for the tractor.

    You set those up on a cat scale?

    I use Right Weigh scales on all of our trucks and trailers as well. Mix of digital and analog. No problems with them and they hold calibration.

    I just use a pressure gauge. Load it up, weigh, check where the gauge is. Simple math will tell you how much one psi equates to in pounds. Pretty accurate from that point

    Math? That sounds like a whole lot of work.;)

    I use pressure guages on my multiaxle. Mostly because I don't feel like changing it over.

    I don’t do heavy work. And I #### sure don’t go thru...well anyways.
    I have a pressure gauge on my conestoga, but being that the rear axle slides, and the gauge is based on the front axle; I’m just interested in the setup. Depending on how something is loaded, spreading the axle could change the weight on the drives as well- ie put the rear axle closed up as a tandem centered 10’ or so from the rear and load something chunky off the ### end behind the trailer axles, makes me think it’d pick some weight off the nose? I never ran a closed tandem setup on a trailer really?

    Yeah closing the tandems will change your drive weight. If I remember right I move about 1300# just by picking my third axle up.

    Before I bought my scales I did a LOT of research. Airweigh seems to be the big brand out there but I liked the Right weigh better. It was about 1/3 the money and had more features. On thing that might work for you is the Right Weigh has 4 configurable modes for axle configuration. I’ve got mine calibrated for tandem, tri and quad.

    Honestly though I think a digital air gauge is just as good. I put on in my dash and have made a spreadsheet kinda that it’s darned accurate as long as you don’t adjust the leveling valve.
