I would like to purchase a truck (about $40k). I do not have a CDL license. I am looking to purchase a truck and lease it onto a very experienced trucking company that will keep my truck on the road. I can put down up to %25 of the cost of the truck. I have put a call into Perry Funding and waiting for them to call me back. Anyone have any other suggestions? Thank you.

How do you expect to make money in an industry you know nothing about?
Save your money and invest it in something that you will not be regretting in six months.

If you are starting out and need to finance a truck you are not going the right way.

    99.9% chance of failure.

Loads aren’t going to be given to you unless you have a minimum of 3 months for some brokers to work with you and these brokers will not give you the rates you would need to pay for all of it.

Progressive will charge you 1700 a month on insurance alone and a 1k payment on the truck adds up.

It sounds like he's buying the truck but he's not going to drive it? Just lease it on and the company will find him a driver? Is this a thing now?
