Quality Carriers, like most tanker companies, is not run as a big national company. Each terminal manager is like a king of his kingdom. So if your terminal manger is good and fair they are good to work for. Some terminals are not run as well. I'm lucky my TM is great, and I only haul dedicated for 1 customer. I get a weekly guaranteed paycheck or more. Tanker customers treat you much better than dry van and reefer customers. Surge is nothing to worry about. You just make minor driving changes and you'll be safe.
I don't work anywhere near FL. Your "mileage" may vary.

I have 4 years experience now and I've been looking for something local(I live around fort myers, florida) and I'm starting to think the only way to get paid something decent in trucking and be local down here is in putting OTHER people in trucks(otr).
RookieJ1987 and Kstrong86 Thank this. -
NoobiDriver Thanks this.
