Wanted some advice and suggestions from you guys..Getting a shipper has been a hard task for me. I'm interested in hauling freight to Canada from Florida. I haul this lane often but its hard to find it consistently, weekly. Anyone aware of any brokers or shippers that can help me with this? What are your thoughts on Canada runs?

Why not start at the other end, with the receiver? Shippers aren’t the only ones who book trucks.
My neighbor worked a deal with a local manufacturer for a lower delivery price, and got the gig. Even though the shipper had been handling the loads for years.
I would say look at Lynden. But I don’t think they run that lane.Dstrucking2018 Thanks this. -
Mortuaries would be a start. When the snowbirds die down there, they've got to get home somehow.

When I worked in the US office of Provost Bulk, a lot of friends and acquaintances asked how we got all the loads into Canada.
Simple, our 'telemarketer and central dispatcher were in Montreal; 99% of the freight I did northbouind and the Canadians backhauled, came from Canadian sources... -
A family from Quebec drove home from Florida with a body in the backseat
His wife and son, wary about the cost and hassle of going to an American hospital and getting Fernand’s body repatriated, decided to just keep driving to their Ormstown home, in Quebec’s Montérégie region.
It wasn’t until they got to the Canada-U.S. border at Hemmingford, Que., that the Drapeaus were stopped and searched.
While no charges have been laid yet, authorities have not ruled out the possibility.
