    im just so grateful to pass my road test and get my cdl, any thing after that is gravy!!!! i just want to learn my trade and be safe, everything else will come

    Theres loading and unloading pay that'll boost up your pay.
    But definitely after a year you move on and the money will be there. It's worth it

    I'm a dry bulk reject, so I would have to defer to @slim shady and the others here brave enough to drag a can as to the money there but in dry I would say 75K is a doable number. Low to mid 60s seems to be the guys working out of the yard I work out of that put in 5 days a week.

    I've heard from more than 1 driver liquid tanker can be a very good living, at least the same numbers if not better for the hours worked.

    Bite your tongue and bide your time, make a years experience and a crap load full of doors will open up.
