    Truck drivers are the heart and soul of America, without you we would not survive; So thank you truckers. With that said avoid Randy Marten Marten Transport Eau Claire, Wisconsin
    Transportation/Trucking/Railroad. Randy Marten wrote my son a hand written letter that ended his young life after 10 years of long haul trucking for respectful companies. He did not just fire my son he told him that what happened was the dumbest thing he had ever seen in his 45 years of business and told my son he was the stupidest person on the earth. I have the letter found by my son's body and it states much more and is beyond cruel and evil. Randy Marten tried to hide behind his secretary and have her pretend it did not happen. Sorry Randy I have friends too and your letter did not vanish as you wished it too.     Do not work for this company, do not do business with this company - Randy Marten is not the heart of America, he ends the hearts of America and feels nothing, gives no apologies or admissions. He is a disgrace to the truck drivers of America.

    FYI ... "Those" letters are nothing new

    Randy Martin is a hollow man .. with a fragile ego to nurse .
    Hand writing cruel and shaming letters to former employees ( which he's done
    over the years on a regular basis ) are pointless burnt offerings to the memory of his
    ancestors

    I never met randy but I remember some of my relatives in western Wisconsin reaction to my going to work for marten " that's guys a jerk and you wont be there long" ...I felt more like a slave there lol.

    I’m surprised that no one has taken him out back somewhere for some “counseling”. Sounds like he needs it.

    So what happened exactly?

    If Randy Marten is responding (whether orally or in writing) then something serious (or egregious) happened to get his undivided attention.

    I've met him one time, when I started. He was very nice to me and I have no issues with him, but I do agree with you. There was an accident in California, where a man couldn't stop and totaled the truck, and he lost his life. To this day that totaled truck and trailer sits right next to the gate of the terminal. That right there gave me a bad taste about him.

    Also heard all that cash screwed up the whole family too .
    Isnt just the Marten family...lots of screwed up people in that area .
    Last I knew randy lives in Colorado .
