Lucky Star Transport - Stockbridge, GA / Road Cargo Inc - San Bernardino, CA

Lucky Star Transport out of Stockbridge, GA (DOT 1830932) and Road Cargo Inc. out of San Bernardino, CA (DOT 2642066) are basically the same company. Its run by a bunch of East Indian/Pakistani guys. The owners name is Kulwinder Singh. They will steal your money. They will give you the constant run around about your final paycheck. These guys owe me about $1500.00 They only pay with paper checks FYI so wherever you live, they'll have to snail mail it. Thats if they even mail it. It's been over 2 weeks, I have not gotten my pay and I was completely ignored simple trying to recover my stolen wages. So I will now have to go through the California DOL to get my money. Steer clear of these thieves. I can provide screenshots of texts upon request to anyone SERIOUSLY considering these people as an employer.

Update: I managed to get in touch with the owner. He told me he would void the check and wire me my money. I sent him all necessary information and he has been giving me the run around for the last few days. Again, I have been ridiculusly patient with these people. Point blank this is just a crap company that doesnt give a #### about paying drivers for their work. They had the nerve to tell me if I ever wanted a job I could come back. Yep. Great way to get me to make that move. Screwing with my money that I EARNED. Too bad workers have zero rights in this country. Any talk about standing up for workers is considered "SoShUllizUm" so, yeah.

 

I've finally been paid after 3+ weeks and having to threaten to go to the CA DOL. I had paper logs, copies of bills, text messages and all of the DOL paperwork already filled out and ready to go to get my money. I would still avoid this place. Paying people is simply not a priority here. Say what you want about liberal states but it's a lot harder for employers to steal from workers in them unlike these "right to get screwed" right wing, corporate welfare circle jerk states. If they would just lower the taxes a bit and leave my guns alone they wouldn't be so bad.

 

Sorry guys, need to update again. Apparently these guys lied to a comoany I'm applying for and told them I abandoned their truck and load. Too bad I kept screenshots of the texts proving otherwise, telling me where to leave the truck and load

Stay away from these guys, this company is trash.
