LOL, I was just yanking your chain. That said, I ran only 105k miles to generate that revenue. Hope you've found a company to call home till retirement.

at the truck stop .... they offered me one and told me to swing by
and swap into when i get back to GP

Yea they have the apu and inverter in it.
Even have a few regular house plugs in it.
Dam near a queen size bed.

Automatic is on the steering column.
I looked at the one they had for me.
    Decided to keep my peterbilt.

200,000 miles and not one day in the shop
    Other than a pm.
    I'm not taking any chances.

No place for a tv or microwave.
You can sit the fridge on the floor.

For some reason Martin wouldn't let me check
it out first before taking it.
So I found another driver who just moved into
His and he let me look around.

As long as my wrist holds out, perhaps...or maybe that's why I'll have to retire.

Like western flyer mentioned, it does have an apu/epu. I like the apu much better than the petes. my pete had heat problems and never worked right in my opinion. Always to hot then to cold and so on. So far the new international doesn't have that issue at all. My opinion is the pete is a nicer truck and had a few things that made things easier, for example outside temp gauge, front curtains, and better/bigger side mirrors.

The international has more room and there is a place for the microwave and they have tv mounts at the shop currently putting them in trucks for whoever wants them. I like how the dash setup and the gear shifter in the column works after being in the truck 10k miles which i didnt think i would. It not being a drag axle of course is a huge upgrade. Without knowing what future maintenance problems it may or may not have i would rather have the international if i could choose between the two brand new. It not being a drag axle and more room for my fridge being the main reasons. If pete wasnt a drag axle then probably would take the pete.

Oh and theres no pull out desk type thing in the international so if you plan on cooking/eating or doing paperwork in the sleeper you're gonna need to be creative. I bought a fold out table thing for 8 bucks at Walmart and it does the trick so far.

I agree , the Pete’s heater system definitely has room for improvement .

The main reason I’m jumping into the
Intl is interior room ... this Pete is really
small inside compared to my old Intl

Also hoping the new Intl has only one bed and they dropped the upper bunk .

It will be nice if it also has the Bluetooth
“ hands free “ radio system like the Pete has ... that’s a plus

Having worked at Navistar in the past i am used to them and their layout is like being at home. The only thing I didn’t like about them is the storage unit behind the drivers seat. Has the step molded into it. I was never able to find a decent way to store anything in it. Maybe the one without the upper bunk will be different.

Could be worse. Our double bunk Anthems have the step right dead center of the bottom bunk. So, if you keep the top bunk down for storage, you not only crack the back of your head if you try to sit between the bunks but you bang you shins on the step. Mack engineers must ride the short bus to work every day from that special school...
