Now, I could have done that to my grandmother and lived over it, but ain't no way I would have tried that with my mother, and I ain't skeered of nuttin. lol
I hope that driver that dropped that trailer at the TA, ask those he blocked in, but wouldn't count on it. I saw close to the same thing at the J in Tacoma once. I was taking my 34 off and the place was full, so I backed down that little aisle they have that goes off to the side and parked in the very last hole, that was always open. I was just hanging out in the truck when one of them shecago russian trucks backed down the aisle, and blocked several of us in. A mercedes with foreign plates had followed him in, he got out and started to leave in the car. I stopped them and ask what he thought he was doing, and he ask if I needed out, when I said no, he said he would be back in a couple of hours. I told him I didn't need out, but some of the other guys sure might and there isn't no way your rig is going to be there when you get back, if you don't move it.Trucker Paul and Tb0n3 Thank this. -

I just started training my first time out on the road. We park in the back at the flying j in ft worth/Dallas, the one in front of that blue weiner terminal.
We see a working girl on the corner and the pimp is walking down the opposite side of the street.
I’m eating my lunch and out of nowhere, another girl comes flying down between the shrubs screaming at the other girl. This my territory ##### etc etc and starts beating the hell out of her. The pimp comes over to intervene and the pigs show up and arrested all three of them. First day truck driving. I was like wtf did I get myself into. Lolx1Heavy, bryan21384, D.Tibbitt and 2 others Thank this. -
Well, I would say get used to it, but you did in my oinion make your first stops in one of the worst especially that back lot. I stopped stopping there years ago. If I had to stay in the area I would drive all the way out to Terrel. I don't even know how that would be today, as that rip griffins turned into a TA back then and started downhill.
One of my drivers and an owner operator I know both had their wallets stolen out of their pants pockets while they were sleeping their. I know of one other driver that woke up and his pants had been moved, but he thought the thief had woken him up and left in a hurry.
The oo I know that did have his stolen, even had a a dog in the truck, that normally would have let him know. The police told my driver that it was happening often, and while they were filling out the report, the thief used his credit card across the street at the TA. lolx1Heavy Thanks this. -
I was looking for an appropriate place to post this, so maybe this will work.
To the woman who works for... Well, let's just leave that out of it.
But I'm sure you're a lovely lady when you're not screaming at me in a truck stop over how to form a line. I did what the previous three people before me did, but evidently that was not to your satisfaction, so you roared around me and the two trucks in back of me, and cut in line to form your own line.
I'm sure you're a really nice lady when you're not doing that.
Sometimes I think truckers are underpaid. And then sometimes I think they make what they deserve. -
10 years ago I drove into the Oklahoma City ta truck stop to scale out a load right next to the scale there was a guy sleeping in the grass with his bedroll under his head or so it appeared it was an especially hot day outside hovering around 96 degrees and I figured maybe this guy had drank a little too much and was in a heavy sleep and didn't want him to wake up with third-degree Burns so after I scaled my load and parked I walked over to wake him up unfortunately he was dead what do you must have been pretty happy because he had the biggest smile on his face that I had ever seen and it wasn't because he was bloated or stretched out by the Sun when the police and coroner showed up they determined that he had probably only been dead a little over an hour that's the strangest thing I've ever seen a guy dies next to the cat scale with the biggest smile I've ever seen
