@ttypewe4jim I went to O.J.’s But it’s the exact same situation, clustered!!! They have a whole separate drop yard away from where they actually wash the tankers a few blocks down and I had to learn the hard way where to go and what to do LOL, better luck for next time though! I think today I’m going to be making a video on the procedures for that tank wash to help save some other people the headache. How do you like it at superior carriers? I hear lots of good things about that company, What are the trucks like? Do they have apu’s?

here’s the video as promised !

UPDATE:
Whats going on TR gang!! Its been a few weeks since I checked in, Just wanted to let you guys know how it’s going out here and give a little insight into the coin I’m putting in my pockets, because everyone always wants to know what the pay is like at prime tanker there have been a lot of bad stories I’ve read.. So here is the recent facts:
@ $0.51 cpm
Week 1 = 2,285 miles
Week 2 = 1,920 miles
Week 3 = 3,504 miles
Week 4 = 2,673 miles
So that averages to about 2595 miles/week. $1323 gross/week (I have not included Per diem or fuel bonuses in this figure for the sake of just giving you raw numbers)
This is comparable to what the reefer guys make, I remember when I was hauling reefer I was making about that maybe $50 more per week on average.
Most of the time I’m running 65 mph, and I get about 8.7 MPG on average sometimes more sometimes less. Prime doesn’t have the best fuel bonus program out there so I don’t really concern myself with those extra $20 of bonus pay, it’s nice and all but in my eyes isn’t as substantial as the extra miles you can get running 65 mpg because that comes out to about an extra 200 to 300 miles per week that you can run.
I will be updating the income every quarter so that people can get a reliable expectation from coming into tanker on the company side at Prime Inc. Other than that, I’m grateful that winter is on its way out and getting ready for some spring riding!
As far as my lane territory, My first couple weeks were spent mainly in the Northeast and over to Wisconsin, and these last two weeks have been spent down in Tennessee, Louisiana, Maryland, and Illinois, so again I reiterate we do not just stay up in the Northeast all the time. Thanks for reading looking forward to sharing more stuff with you guys as it comes my way, stay safe out there, hammer down yall!Last edited: Mar 31, 2019
