They are none that are really good. Seems like they all fall short. Copilot has app you pay by the month or buy it for like 140 it usually goes on sale in the fall for like 99. The address are usually off by 1 miles so that not good, but the navigation driving down the road is really nice.

Garmin have pretty good rating but they are like $400 some driver don't like them.

One call Truck Smart 2.0 it was good on getting the correct address or truck entrance but going down the road navigation was not so good.

Truck Hunter Navigation might be the free copy of Copilot. One app has a free navigation and it was really Copilot.

Maybe some else will have answer none of them seem to be that great.

Google maps is very accurate but not truck routing. I double checked with Google maps and use the free Copilot my company has on their ELD

You're company is forcing you to get gps? I would run away from them as fast as I could.

I never used gps when I was otr. Just the Truckers Atlas and calling for directions from customers. I used Google Maps to see the route before I went in.

That is just my opinion, for what its worth. Btw, my old compamy had GPS in their Qualcomm. I never followed it, but couldnt turn it off. Had it turned up for the noise. Anyways, it was not accurate as it would try and route me the wrong way through Knoxville, TN.

That being said, IF I would use GPS, I wouldnt use some app. I would buy the best GPS unit I could afford.

    Good luck.

I use the CoPilot GPS app and got it on sale for $99 years ago. Has it been off on an address from time to time? Yes, but nothing substantial enough cause any grief over.

If that is the only concern about CoPilot, the fix is very easy. Use Google maps to get the coordinates to the truck entrance to a customer, then input that latitude and longitude into the CoPilot and and you are on your way to the truck gate. Problem solved.

I have used CoPilot on my iPhone and had some issues with it but it’s pretty good.

Personally, I use Rand McNally 740... it works great for me... a hiccup now and then and several of the newer Loves are not in it... but I would highly recommend a dedicated Truck GPS... are they pricey? Yes, but if you are OTR or having to navigate city streets, I think it’s a GREAT INVESTMENT...

It’s a main tool, invest in good tools.

    Yup... THIS!!!

While technically a GPS Unit is just an App on a small Tablet... (my RM740 is just a small android tablet) but I agree with the get the best one you can afford... :) ... it’s a primary tool in the Drivers Tool bag... consider it an investment to save both time and money...

    All the decent ones cost.

Smart truck route 2 on android is pretty good.

Trucker path truck stop app just added Navigation for trucks. 9.99 month or 60 a year. 2 week free trial on the Navigation.
