Did it for the good of the community. As i said, i got paid for fewer than i reported. Nothing wrong with getting paid.

The cops n prosecutors get paid. They dont do it just for the money, but they do get paid.

I was a night manager at a hotel on century blvd right outside LAX. In 4 years i turned in 5 drug smugglers and never got paid.

One guy gave the girl at front desk a $100 bill. She lifted it up to verify its authenticity. He then lifted up an oversized gym bag, put it on the counter, opened and said “here sweetheart if you dont like that one, pick one o these” there were stacks of hundreds in there.

He was my first. Afterward, the DEA showed me how to detect others who arent so obvious.

That was almost 30 years ago and wouldn’t be surprised if 1 of em isnt still in federal prison.

Being a cop? .... my eyesight is way too far off to have passed. Oddly enough, the standards have changed and you can now join many forces with 20/100 eyesight if corrected, but now i’m too old.

 

You’re right. I removed my number, but today i got 8 agents pestering me. 6 by phone 2 by text.

Theyre worse than telemarketers. Tried to dump cheap freight on me, all under $2 mile.

I parked, opened my ipad ... wah lah $3.18/ mile load to a city i can get another good load out of.
