Shoot I want to get out of here. I love the state pride and it being red, but 110 degree summers get old.

We actually some years burn at 130 for July and August. I remember at the old house 20 years when it gets that hot even under the trees nothing is active. Birds are quiet and so on. No outside work or anything. Just wait until evening or mow at night using those headlights. (You hae to have really good neighbors)

The one part of the USA I hate for heat is down by the Gila in AZ and over towards death valley in CA. It's not good. Once with full AC on we were at 78 in the cab. Reefer was all out above 160 at the catwalk it held up pretty good, but did drink fuel.

The only actually citation I ever received at a coup was about a 1000 years ago using paper logs.

    "Speeding after the fact."

Butte Montana. CRE. Truck was governed at 75.

Dude said I averaged like 85.5 or some crazy number from two points, 5 days back.

OOS for 10 hours. $275 fine.

I left Fairbanks and had the Prince George scales (gone now) check my logs. He added the miles all the way back to fairbanks, and decided that I had compressed my logs. I ask what that meant, did he think I had stomped them or what. lol
Anyway he kept telling me I had done them with a calculator, which I had, but sure wasn't going to admit it, finally he said I could no way driven it like I logged it, claimed he couldn't even do it in his car, of which, I don't have a clue what you are capable of, but I logged it as I drove it. After 30 minutes or so, I told him to write me a speeding ticket if he wanted to, but we need to get this over with, and I will come back to fight it. He wound up letting me go.

A big firing would be a non issue for me. I wouldn't work for two bit micromanager companies like that. Getting nitpicked over minor speed variations. Risk getting fired for a safety violation, and having a black mark on your record, making it hard to get another job. All for something that is legal. Safety has nothing to do with it. Signing a letter that is essentially an admission of guilt. And it's almost always a big fleet.

Intimidation and manipulation, and an attempt to program drivers like they were robots. Nothing more.
