I also got a fondness for Del Taco and In and Out Burger when I get to all points from Texas going west

I do love in&out, and Dell Taco.
But most of the time I only see arbys.
And arbys seems way better than subway. They have all meats except. Hamburger.

Texas Best Smokehouse at exit 219 on I-30 on the west side of Texarkana, Texas. It’s a truckstop as well. Seriously good BBQ, I particularly like their smoked turkey. There’s also one in Longview, Texas and another in Mesquite, both off I-20.

@Tall Mike has posted the most compelling photos of places for drivers to eat at that I’ve ever seen.

    Tall Mike Thanks this.

I rarely eat at truck stops unless it is an old school mom and pop type place. Plus I think that means I’ve been out here way past too long !

To be honest those places scare me the most not that your local Loves, TA and anything else tell you why I ate at one years back. They had the food service permit like they all do I received food poisoning from cross-contamination from raw chicken on my vegetables. I had the leftovers tested is the only reason I knew.
For these moms and pops don't wear gloves a lot the times at least Loves will have them wear gloves even if they don't change the gloves from meat to vegetables. They are programmed that way but don't understand why is the problem most times for lack of training.

Is okay. BODACIOUS onIH20 is better.

EXIT 87 BBQ in Jackson, TN better than either (value).

The best BBQ places in Texas you can’t get to in a truck.

    stacks and tarmadilo Thank this.
