Been seeing a lot of dead turkeys this spring dead on the highways. Today I managed to get one myself. It wasn't on the road, it was flying. Glanced off of the top of my cab, then hit the road with a thud behind my trailer. I felt bad for the poor thing because it wasn't dead yet, but this was I-5 and I'm sure it won't last long. Hit a deer a couple years ago in a Cascadia. It glanced off the front bumper and just destroyed it. I had to zip tie it back on until I got back to the terminal. No damage from the turkey. Wonder if I should put a turkey sticker on the side of my truck?

I ran over a dog before that was the worst , i got somebodys pet chicken down in south texas, got a bird down in phoenix , one of those big black buzzards, black feathers flew everywhere , never hit a deer or a cow or an elk , nothing like that, im scared to hit one in my cascadia , it would probably total this plastic junk

If u ever been down arizona highway 238 from mobile to gila bend.. We used to nickname that road dead cow road.. Back in the day it was open range , it was litterally a dead cow on the shoulder every mile or 2... Everyonce in awhile somebody would die when they hit the cow and it comes thru the windshield..totaled every single car... Its all fenced off nowadays though

Well if it's dark and they're black cows I can understand, we had somebody's cows get out and somebody hit them and about took out the house. We also had a deputy hit a cow with a Crown Vic, the funny part is he was going to a report of cows out on the highway and apparently decided hauling ### to them was a good idea.

several deer, many rabbits, ground squirrels, lots of birds in big trucks. not sure if it counts , but in a pickup a couple deer, a dog, several rabbits, one horse and even a deer on my V45. One of my drivers even hit a hog once. I put some of those deer whistles on it the next time he came home, and he called me two days later and told me a deer knocked the one off of the passenger side. lol
