Any opinions on buying from Ryder/Penske vs Selectrucks/Paccar/ex-mega fleet dealers?
Availability of service records and oil sample results and used truck warranties are a concern.

What I like about Truckpaper.com you can specify what kind of truck you want, what year model you want, engine, sleeper or day cab etc. Also it has keyword search you can put in words like overhaul if thats important to you

A few drivers have posted on here they bought from large trucking companies and did ok; satisfied with the purchase. One I remember bought two from Melton Truck Lines and some bought from TransAm.

I personally just like a truck that whoever drove it took care of it. Not that there aren't any fleet trucks that fit that, but they are somewhat rare
