I have an issue with the 880 squealing when someone is talking to me, but they can hear me fine. It kinda sounds like they are a channel off. Can anyone tell me what that could be? I've changed coax and antenna...maybe the mic?
Squeal on receive end of the 880 CB?

Not an expert, but it could be a ground issue.
What's your swr reading? -
Maybe you could share a video with us so we can better understand what's going on

Is this something new that just started with your radio? Or has the radio always been this way?
With the cobra 25 radios, you will see a .01 µF capacitor installed between pin 4 (audio input) and ground of the audio chip to solve the squeal on receive problem. Not sure if this is the same problem with the 880 radio or not. -
Ive had a 880 for about 4 years and use it off and on, never had similar issue, receive is generally good, more white noise and static then a Cobra 29 but it has goid ears.
