Prob the poor ####### I helped back into a stall, at the Loves in north Vegas. That guy had NO CLUE how to setup, backup, nothing, it was pretty unreal. Of course he was trying to cram himself into a single spot between 2 trucks, when there were 5 spots further down the row, but farther from the store. CR England already had the red curbs all full up.

I try to help them when I can, but #### it does get old. It is not the driver's fault. They have not been taught or shown how to back. I'm not going to bash the driver as they really don't know what to do. I will bash their company. Shame on you less than mention able crap companies. Teach these kids and don't just use them for your bottom line. Shame on you crap companies.

I’m not bashing I work here. What I’m doing is calling swift out that they could make a greater effort to improve their safety record.

would be hard since they are the company with a big fleet bigger than all other truckloads carriers.

JB hunt just as bad, don't even get me started with these UPS, FedEx. You know years ago people were saying, Crete and a Walmart driver are the best in pay and quality you cannot say that anymore Crete just as bad as swift every time I see these guys there's a issue they did something stupid.

FedEx drivers I see them all time trying to pass me they can't and its scary process so scary had one come into my lane because he couldn't control his rig from coming over 3 times trying to pass me. hauling doubles. I eventually pull over to a truck stop but a driver shouldn't have do that crap let someone get up the road because they too stupid have a lip common sense and ability maintain control of there rig and maybe they need set there speed to a slow speed and keep everyone safe including themselves.
I don't blame the company I blame the drivers

You cannot teach a person to be a safe driver if the driver already has there own views on how to drive. I have said this many time before if the driver was an unsafe driver before getting a CDL unless that driver turns over a new leaf I don't expect they lose the bad habits and keep only the good ones. They are in every company rather it be only 10-16,000 drivers.

I never heard anyone say Crete drivers were the best in the biz. Maybe you were at a Crete pep rally when you heard that.

I am sure thats what everyone thinks of walmart, ups, fedex nowadays another will be on the just another company bad list one day, but they are just a company some people like them others hate. If you drink that hater aid enough its everyone.
But they had good drivers while back atleast what people told my 10+ years ago. I maybe have had my cdl official only since 2014 been driving long before it with my uncle.
Experience drivers just because they have years under there belt that don't make them good drivers just means the law left them through the cracks. My uncle had years driving from army and then went civilian did same thing tell me that most drivers he's ever seen are at best garbage his words not mine.

i was told by a former swift o/o, that given the large numbers of employee drivers, and equipment, when you add up all those accidents, it's actually quite small an accident rate.

now take an operation with 10 trucks, and each driver has an accident or traffic violation, and you can plainly see how horrible that smaller company is....

Might be small but they do have some of the best fantastical accidents that leave you scratching your head going “how the #### did that happen”

Reason why the best in class jokes started popping out.
