$15042 gross YTD through 3/2. That's with only taking 2 days of sick time, and all the snow days/work called off unpaid (at my choosing).

Got into trucking in March '18, started with this company in September '18.

i will say this about food delivery (and there isn't much to say....) that when i was dispatcher at a food company (i drove too), and had to do payroll, there was a 21 year old kid who made a little over $50,000 his first year. And this was in 2001!

So that's another good thing (and there isn't much) about food delivery.

    food 1.5 < LTL 20

Your first otr job, you can expect to hate life.

After a year, it gets a lot better.

Assuming you work 40 hours a week at an 18.50 per hour job, you should manage to match or better that pay as a OTR driver, as long as you keep your nose clean enough to work for a solid company that pays decently.

40k in your first year as an OTR company driver is commonplace.

If you apply yourself, learn the ins and outs of the trade, and hustle your butt when you are the one in charge of making things happen, 50k or even 60k per year is not hard after the first year.

I made 66k in w-2 earnings in my third full year as a company driver.

You need to figure out how to do things better if that’s what you’d expect.

I’ll guarantee a driver $60k their first year

What I make in a month has nothing to do with what I'm making per year.

(OK. Let's see who flames me first for my infraction.)
